As everyone's preparing for Coachella, Lollapalooza, and the like, I'm being increasingly influenced by boho style. I can't really rock the super colorful and lace-y side of boho, but the aspects that really resonate with me are texture-mixing and the uniqueness of the jewelry. I took this necklace I bought from Target a while back and decided to wear it as a head chain, which definitely gets me more bang for my buck! And especially because head chains can be expensive, try shaking off the dust of those necklaces you don't wear anymore, because they can always find a second purpose!

Lately I've been into the idea of print-mixing and clashing, because it's the easiest way to get that whole "look at me being deliberately schnazzy" or alternatively "artsy" vibe. I'm still trying to find the perfect plaid-floral mix a la Dries Noten, but I think the basic black n' white is a good place to start. Stick with one foundational piece that doesn't have a lot going on, for example in this case, the lace tee. Then pick one smaller print (the dotted skirt) and one larger one (the blazer.)
Happy pattern mixing!

Real talk, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of days where everyone just wants to roam around in their PJ's, and tbh, today was one of those days. I just hit up my girl Riya, said my eyeliner game today was strong enough to kill a man, and we shot some photos. I also had calculus tutoring but meh, boring details.

What do you wear on your "days off?"
